Michael Paige, multi instrumentalist, vocalist and producer has a historically factual understanding of where modern American music has come from. With this release Michael shares his love for the common thread that runs through all American music. And yes that thread is Black folk’! Modern rock and roll and pop have a rich and colorful history born of joy, sorrow, heartache and inspiration. Michael, bathed in this history has percolated, bubbled and simmered to produce this latest gumbo of sounds. This record was recorded with real live musicians from across the country and smashed together in his studio in his Blackbird studio in Texas and eft as raw as possible, just like real rock and roll recordings of days past!
